Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch is nestled deep in the Arizona desert, making it the perfect spot to unplug and unwind. The ranch is designed like a charming, authentic, old-time Western town, instantly transporting you back in time.
Our spacious family suite with a cozy living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and even a mini fridge, offered plenty of room for all four of us. One thing that stood out? They don’t even use keys for the rooms because the ranch is so secluded and safe. It felt like a little bubble where the kids could run around freely, exploring nature and just being kids.
Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch is especially unique because it is the only ADA-accessible guest ranch in the United States, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the magic of the Old West!

Unforgettable Horseback Riding
Each day, we went on a ride that followed a different trail with new scenery to explore. The wranglers were incredible, making us, as total beginners, feel completely safe and supported.
Our 5-year-old daughter was initially so nervous about our horseback riding experience that she wasn’t sure she’d even ride, but Mae, one of the staff members, was absolutely amazing — she walked right alongside our daughter’s horse, ponying her until she felt confident enough to ride on her own. It was such a sweet and patient gesture that made all the difference!
Our horses were thoughtfully matched for each of us too. Horseback riding was the highlight of our trip, and the wranglers’ guidance made it an unforgettable experience.

More Exciting Activities
While horseback riding is a major attraction at Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch, there is so much more to do! We had the chance to enjoy a variety of adventures including a stagecoach ride, archery, and even fat tire bike riding — all part of the all-inclusive stay. One of the coolest adventures was riding in a Humvee to explore old gold mines, and for an extra thrill, we even had the opportunity to shoot some impressive firearms.

The kids spent hours enjoying the playground, petting zoo, and walking the animals — including donkeys, mini horses, and Dahali the llama. They absolutely loved the heated pool and hot tub, which are open year-round, making it perfect for some family downtime.
In the evenings, the ranch really came alive. We gathered around the nightly campfire for stories, and every sunset was celebrated with the dramatic boom of a cannon.
The variety of activities made each day at Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch feel like a new adventure!

Delicious All-Inclusive Dining
The delicious homemade meals at Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch were a highlight of our stay. Served three times a day (times vary depending on the season), every dish was made with care. Breakfasts featured favorites like biscuits and gravy and flavorful egg bites, while lunches included classics like hamburgers, and homemade cookies for dessert. Dinner was always a treat with hearty dishes like beef stroganoff and chicken piccata, followed by a delectable homemade dessert every evening.
Tricia, one of the owners, went above and beyond to make sure our children always had something they’d enjoy eating and was thoughtful enough to let us know the upcoming meals so we could plan ahead. The food was a perfect mix of comfort and care, making mealtime another part of the Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch charm!
The mess hall and lodge are open 24/7, giving guests access to the coffee, tea, and juice that are included in the all-inclusive experience. For additional snacks and beverages, there is a convenient self-serve honor system.
